Wow!  The New York State Department of Health has just announced that three of our region’s best have won New York State awards for excellence.  

Betty Montgomery will be receiving the New York State “Registered Professional Nurse of Excellence” Award  Her nomination competed with dozens of our best emergency nurses across the state. Betty also won the regional Nurse of the year award this past Aprilat the STEP Conference. Read the nomination details (pdf).

Andrew Eve will be receiving the New York State “EMS Communications Specialist of the Year”  His nomination also competed with dozens of prominent EMS communication specialists across the state. Drew also won the regional EMS Communications specialist award this past April at the STEP Conference. Read the nomination details (pdf).

Sharon Chiumento will be receiving the New York State “Harriet C. Weber EMS Leadership Award”  Her nomination also competed with dozens of prominent EMS leaders across the state. Sharon also won the regional leadership award this past April at the STEP Conference. Read the nomination details (pdf).
